Life Goup

Life Group

“Life Groups” are all meant to go:

  • “Up” (discipleship)

  • “In” (bible study)

  • “Out” (community).

  • We believe that groups are most healthy and have most “life” when all of those components are operating in a single group. Also, for the diverse cultures in NE Atlanta, there is a desire to be connected to family, to have community, and to meet in homes.

Thus our “Life Group” model seeks to do that through a 4 week rhythm that will cycle in a Spring and Fall semester.

Sunday School

Sunday School takes place on Sundays after worship service for nursery age children (age 1-4) and grades K-12 in the Spring and Fall.

We focus on helping our children learn God’s Word through connecting the lesson to the sermon, building authentic friendships, and having fun!

We also want to connect Sunday School to Monday-Saturday. We believe ultimately that parents are the main disciplers of their children, and so we want to do our best as a church to help be a “4th wall” to support spiritual formation inside the home.

Youth Group

Experience the power of community and fellowship through our Youth Group (6th-12th grade)!

Every first Sunday of the month, we gather together to create a space where we want it to be fun and welcoming, but also we engage in a topic with the goal for our youth to “make their faith their own”.

Corporate Prayer

Join us for our powerful Corporate Prayer gathering every Sunday from 9:15 AM to 9:45 AM! This dedicated time of prayer takes place under the staircase in the hallway.

As we come together as a unified body, we seek God's presence, guidance, and blessings for our church and our community. We believe that apart from the Lord, we can do nothing. But in Him and through Him, all things are possible!

We also encourage that if anyone has a particularly pressing prayer need, to make that known to our prayer leaders (through email). Our prayer leaders can discern with you if this is something we can have the Elders come and anoint with oil and lay hands to pray in an appropriate setting. Or, we also can pray for your request at our prayer meeting. Or, if you would simply like to share your prayer request privately with the prayer leaders we can do that as well. We are here to serve and intercede for you.

Newcomers Connect

We encourage newcomers to our church to join us at Newcomer Connect which happens regularly at our church.

This special event is designed with newcomers in mind, providing a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere with refreshments and coffee where you can meet Pastor Tony, Marilyn, and other leaders in our church, along with the other newcomers! There you will learn a little bit about our church and you can also freely ask questions and get to know our community.

See our calendar to see when our next Newcomer Connect will take place.
