Get Involved

We would love for you to get connected with us!

Volunteers

No matter your gifts, there's a place for you at Joy of All Nations. We offer a variety of opportunities to get involved that align with your interests, gifts, and season of life. Serving is one of the ways we love God and care for His church. Whether you're greeting on Sunday mornings, investing in the next generation, leading in worship, or running AV behind the scenes, every role plays an important part in helping our church function and thrive. We'd love for you to serve alongside us in one (or more!) of these ministry areas: - Children's Ministry - Next Generation Ministries: Children’s Ministry & Youth Group - Worship Team - Tech Team - Welcome Team - Special Events - Mercy Ministries

Life Groups

At Joy of All Nations, we believe the Christian life isn’t meant to be lived alone. We often talk about being the Church Gathered and the Church Scattered. On Sunday mornings, we gather to worship God, hear His Word, and encourage one another. Throughout the rest of the week, we “scatter”, by continuing to live as the church in our spheres of influence and through community. To form and forge some of this community through Life Groups: meeting once a week during the school year for fellowship, Bible study, prayer, and simply doing life together. Life Groups are a place to know others, be known, and grow in your faith alongside people who will encourage and support you. Based on geography and stage of life, we believe our Life Groups are vital to the life of our church - allowing us to focus on Christ and go deep with one another. No matter your age or stage of life, there’s a place for you.

Sunday School

At JOAN, we believe that knowing God is for all of God’s people - of all ages. We want every child to grow in their understanding of who God is, what He has done for us through Christ, and how His Word shapes our lives. Sunday School meets most Sundays during the school year and offers age-appropriate Bible teaching, discussion, and activities designed to help children engage with Scripture in ways they can understand. Our desire is for children to build a strong foundation of faith, ask meaningful questions, and come to know and trust Jesus as the Holy Spirit works in their lives. Classes are currently offered for Preschool, Elementary, Middle School, and High School students. Our goal is that Sunday School would be a place where every child is known, encouraged, and cared for as they grow in faith alongside their teachers and peers. We’re excited to walk alongside families as we all seek to know Christ and make him known.

Youth Group

At JOAN, we want to encourage and equip our youth to grow in their faith and take ownership of it as their own. We believe this happens best within the context of the whole church family worshiping together. We also seek to support parents as the primary disciplers of their children by providing resources and encouragement for discipleship at home. Alongside this, we recognize the importance of community during adolescence. Youth Group provides space for students to build friendships, share meals, and grow in their understanding of Scripture through teaching, discussion, and mentorship. Our goal is that JOAN’s youth would be rooted in Christ, formed by His Word, and sent out as faithful and Godly young men and women into the world.

Corporate Prayer

At JOAN, we believe prayer is a vital part of the Christian life and one of the primary ways we draw near to God together. Through prayer, we worship the Lord, bring our needs before Him, and encourage one another as the body of Christ. We invite you to join us in any of our regular prayer gatherings: - Sunday Morning Prayer | 9:15 - 9:45 a.m. Before each worship service, we gather to pray for our church, our pastors, our children and youth, our community, and all that will take place that morning - Prayer After the Service | Immediately after service Each Sunday after worship, a designated team is available for anyone who would like someone to pray with them. Whatever burdens or joys you carry, you don't have to leave without bringing them before the Lord - Weekday Morning Prayer (Virtual) | Monday to Friday, 6:45 - 7:00 a.m. Start your day by joining us online as we pray for our missionaries, church staff, outreach opportunities, our congregation, as well as each other Whether you join us in person or online, we'd love for you to be part of this important ministry as we seek the Lord together.
